MicroQuarz® is a seamless floor coating that combines durability with a clean, modern finish. Designed for high-traffic interiors and optional exteriors. It creates continuous surfaces without grout lines or joints, making spaces feel more refined, practical, and easy to live with. It can be finished both in matte and gloss finish.

MicroQuartz Hard Transit XL has been specially formulated for indoor and outdoor floors, but can also be used on walls. MicroQuartz Hard Transit XL is part of the two finishing coats of the Hard Transit XL system. It can be finished to a high gloss, freshly compacted over fresh and dry overlays for a higher degree of slip resistance.

2 coats - Seamless decorative floor finish

Hard Transit XL

Hard Transit XL is the core decorative layer of the system, developed specifically for floor applications. It delivers the seamless, refined look of MicroQuartz® while offering the strength and durability needed for demanding interior spaces.

1 coat - Adhesion-promoting primer

Primer Finish

Primer Finish is a clear intermediate primer that prepares the surface for sealing. It supports adhesion and helps ensure the final finish bonds evenly across the floor.

2 coats – Durable protective sealer

W Radiant

W Radiant is the final sealer, applied in two coats to protect the surface from daily wear. It offers strong resistance to abrasion and moisture, while giving the floor a clean matt, satin, or gloss finish.

Benefits

MicroQuartz® is a mineral- and resin-based coating designed primarily for floors. Unlike cement-based microcement, it offers a more flexible structure, lower absorption, and strong performance in high-traffic spaces, while keeping the finish seamless, minimal and refined.

Low Absorption

Thanks to its different composition, MicroQuartz® has a lower level of absorption than traditional cement-based microcement. This helps reduce water penetration and makes it harder for common everyday substances like red wine or lemon juice to mark the surface.

Flexible Finish

MicroQuartz® does not contain cement. Instead, it uses a mineral base with water-based resins, giving the system greater flexibility and helping it better resist stress cracking in demanding applications.

Built for Floors

Although it can also be used on walls and ceilings, MicroQuartz® is designed first and foremost for floor applications. It is especially well suited to seamless interior floors and staircases where strength and continuity matter.

Because it is a thin, continuous coating system, the substrate needs to be hard, stable, smooth, even and dry before application begins. Each project should be assessed individually so the right preparation can be carried out for the surface underneath.

MicroQuartz® can be applied onto:

Surfaces in plaster and plasterboard

Plywood and moisture resistant MDF

Screed – traditional cement/concretes, radiant, floating, etc.

Undamaged surfaces tiled with ceramic, porcelain, mosaic

Surfaces with existing epoxy or polyurethane coatings

Surfaces in natural and reconstructed stone

Decorative organic or mineral coatings

MicroQuartz® is primarily designed for floors and staircases, although it can also be used on walls and ceilings where the project calls for it. It performs especially well in high-traffic interiors where a seamless, durable finish is needed.

Application

After the surface is prepared, MicroQuartz® application includes layering multiple coats of MicroQuartz®, smoothing and detailing the surface, and sealing it with a protective sealant for durability and a seamless finish.
